Who do you think is going to take these fights? As for the main event its really hard to say because they both can stand up and bang. And Tito is a good wrestler, and Forrest has good jiu jitsu. Even though his last fight was a pretty sad KO. Hey everyone has their good and bad days. That obviously was a bad one for Forrest. Really bad one. So I think all in all this is going to be a good fight. I hope it goes all the way to the third round and ends in a KO.
Johnson and Koscheck they both got heavy hands, Kos has great ground. But I think Johnson will take it by KO. (If he makes weight) here is a trailer off of youtube

UFC 105: "The Truth" Speaks

In this video Brandon "The Truth" Vera speaks about his bout with the UFC legend Randy "The Natural" Couture. Coming up in UFC 105 Nov 14. Says he has been pushing himself while training. When the coaches would tell him "ok one more round" he'd be like "no three more rounds". He also says that training for Couture is somewhere he hasn't been before in his training camp. He doesn't plan on trying to slow Couture down, he wants to push the pace and see who crumbles first.
Out of complete respect for Couture, Vera says he has always looked up to Couture. He is one of his idols.
"I've looked up to the man since when he would have to fight three times in one night just for a 10,000 dollar check"

From what I've been hearing I think this is going to be one of the most explosive fights of the year!!!

UFC 105: Randy "The Natural" Couture Talks About Solving the Equation

Randy Couture says he is going to have to keep the gap closed between him and Brandon Vera, and take him to the ground and make him wrestle.

"See every opponent as a problem, he poses different things and different strengths and weaknesses. And figuring out how I mesh with that and whats gonna put me in the right places to overcome it"

UFC: Couture Vs Vera

In the main event of UFC 105, Hall of Famer Randy "The Natural" Couture has been matched up with Brandon "The Truth" Vera in Manchester, England at the Manchester Evening News Arena. Couture's last fight in the light-heavy weight class was in UFC 57,February of 2006 against Chuck "The Ice Man" Liddell which he loss by knockout. And made it 1 for 3 againt Liddel. After losing to Liddels he bumped up to heavyweight and took on Tim Sylvia at UFC 68 and won by unanimous decision. Then won Gabriel Gonzaga by TKO in UFC 74. Then got pumbled by Brock Lesnar at UFC 91 and lost by unanimous decision to Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in UFC 102. After losing his last two fights people started to question Couture being in the heavyweight division. At 46 years old this MMA warrior is still going strong. He has beaten six former UFC champions like Tito Ortiz, Chuck Liddell and he beat Vitor Belfort two times.


Since Vera's split decision loss against Keith Jardine on UFC 89 he has had 2 back to back wins against Michael Patt do to TKO by leg kicks in UFC 96 and a unanimous decision against Krzysztof Soszynki in UFC 102. 7 of 11 of this skilled Muay Thai striker and grapplers career wins were by knockout or technical knockout. One of them being a 69 second TKO over former heavyweight champion Frank Mir.

Other confirmed fights in this event include a middleweight bout with Michael Bisping and Denis Kang. And a welterweight bout with undefeated Dong Hyun Kim and Dan Hardy.
